Dub poetry is performing poetry to a rhythm of the drum; I also link visual art with poetry and I am a member of Essex Cultural Diversity Project.
I perform poetry recitals in churches and at weddings. I also conduct art and poetry workshops in schools, prisons and in the community.
After successfully completing a six-week art and poetry workshop with pupils from schools in Essex I was featured twice in the Basildon Echo in 2010.
I was also featured in the Woodlands School’s weekly magazine. The featured article Poetry in Motion: November 2010. After conducting a one day workshop.
I have performed poetry recitals at the Poetry Cafè in Covent Gardens and the Gallery Cafè in London and churches in Essex.
I have completed a number of work shops with Royal Opera House Creative Partnerships which includes: Evaluating Youth Arts Projects. Also Intro to Social Enterprise for Arts Organisations {CAVS}
